Want to see some serious elbow grease and garage spirit? Look no further than the winning car at the cross-country Legends Tour's third stop in Bentonville, Arkansas. Vin Erwin's winning car, a 1954 Ford 2-Ton Truck, is actually two trucks chopped up and put together. From the flaming headlights to the custom tow-arm on the back, judges agreed that it "just screams Hot Wheels." Erwin is reportedly a former rodeo cowboy turned carpenter, and he says he drives his truck every day. We would too!
One finalist from each of the 15 cities will join Hot Wheels at SEMA 2018 in Las Vegas, where one lucky winner’s car will be immortalized as a Hot Wheels Legend and turned into a die-cast car that will be sold around the world. For more information, visit hotwheels.com/legendstour and follow the tour on the Hot Wheels Facebook and Instagram accounts, as well as with #HotWheelsLegends.
More than 1,000 fans attended the event in Rogers, Arkansas, home to Walmart’s first-ever store.
Over 100 cars were submitted in hopes of being a finalist to be made into a Hot Wheels die-cast.
The Ford Mustang GT from the Hot Wheels life-size fleet was one of many highlights at the event.
