2001 Twin Mill®

The Twin Mill® was the first life-size car based on a Hot Wheels® design. The toy version was conceived in 1968 by Ira Gilford, and a full-sized build was commissioned for the 30th anniversary of Hot Wheels® in 1998 and unveiled in 2001 at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show.

The twin big-block engines became the vehicle’s most iconic feature—contributing to its high-performance appearance. The twin Chevrolet motors are not just for show—this fully operational racer produces upwards of 1400 horsepower.
